They currently have an opening at their Headquarters in the Northeast for a Project Manager in their Engineering group.

Job Description:

  • Review and understand Request for Quotes, the scope of Delivery and Customer Specifications for Horizontal Form Fill and Seal (HFFS) packaging requests.
  • Maintain a precise project schedule and manage deliverables to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain Project Status Reports for a dashboard presentation to management.
  • Work with internal specialists in engineering, purchasing and accounting so all aspects of the project are organized and resources are correctly allocated.
  • Communicate to all involved parties through regularly scheduled meetings to clarify open issues, maintain schedule and ensure consistent goals.
  • Coordinate project meetings with the customer to discuss open issues, scheduling, and drawings pertaining to the scope of delivery. Any deviations or unclear areas of the scope must be clarified and agreed upon by all parties; and if there is a change to the scope, it must be documented.
  • Assist with field installation personnel, and create installation and start-up instructions.
  • Identify additional project opportunities.
  • Support post-installation requirements with additional hardware and/or documentation as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a purchasing/planning/technical proposal writer professional in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with a customer-focused sense of urgency.
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
  • Experience with European purchasing of electro/mechanical and fabricated (machined) parts preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and present data in an organized and concise manner.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is desirable.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is very desirable.
