Moira McGrath


Moira McGrath - President and Owner, OPUS International, Inc.Moira McGrath is president and founder of OPUS International, Inc. Following graduation from Cornell University with a degree in Hotel Administration, Moira focused her early career on hotel and restaurant operations and management. She worked in Atlanta, San Francisco and Ohio until a career change brought her to Florida. Shortly thereafter, she chose to then pursue the field of executive search. After working for others for a few years, she started her own firm in 1993, She and her staff at OPUS specialize in placing scientists in research and development and quality assurance positions with food and food ingredient manufacturers.

Along with managing her company, she is very involved in related volunteer activities, particularly with the Institute of Food Technologists, a scientific society serving over 18,000 members.  She has served on their Board of Directors, and chaired numerous other committees.

Moira has served on Cornell University’s School of Food Science Advisory Council, since 1997, chairing that group in 2000,-2001, 2004-2005. She has also served or is serving on Advisory Councils for Texas A&M, University of Florida, and Virginia Tech.

Food Science Recruiting Office Administrator Suzanne ScullySuzanne Scully came to OPUS International, Inc., in May 2004, bringing seven years’ prior experience in recruiting hi-tech sales and marketing professionals, physicians, and administrative personnel. She wears many hats at OPUS: Marketing Manager, IT Specialist, Administration Manager, and anything else that is needed in the office.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Suzanne studied education at the University of Louisville before entering the business world.  Besides her work in recruiting, Suzanne has been a small business owner, sales representative for an office equipment company, human resources administrative assistant and office manager.

Suzanne has attended various recruiter training seminars. She loves to cook and is especially enjoying working with the food industry.
